I need help finding the two Irises....

and I don't know what you need to get married and stuff....
I just got the game and well, I need some help!

For the Whale Island Cave: To open the gate, do you have to destroy all the large black orbs/devices? Also what does the Rune Stones have t do with the cave (I believe there was this locked door and it talked about something about Rune stones).
