My "staple" foods are pasta/breads, cheese, fish/shrimp, eggs and chocolate. Most dishes based on those items I will like or love, unless the ingredient list is a mile long (simple tastes, here). But more specifically, I love:

Honey Walnut Shrimp
Pan-fried Sole (Dover or Petrol)
Baked Macaroni (my way; grate a ton of cheddar cheese and put it in a pan with cooked pasta, then pour milk in the pan about halfway through. Bake it for about an hour at... 350' I think, and you have a masterpiece. I don't like creamy sauces)
Tempura Shrimp and Potatoes w/rice and sauce
Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake
Chocolate Cream Pie
Cheesecake
Cookies
Crepes (dessert kind) with eggs, swiss cheese and ham. O_O
Chicken Satay
Shabu Shabu
Tandoori Chicken (and naan, oh god, nothing can beat fresh naan)
etc etc etc. + many other foods

My favorite fruits are lemons, strawberries, and blackberries. Potatoes are the best vegetable-y thing, along with green onions and corn. I hate coconut on its own but coconut milk tastes great with some spices added, like on chicken or in Tom Kha soup. I hate thick onion rings you get in most restaurants, where you take a bite into it and the whole onion part comes out, still cold in the middle, while you're still holding an empty case of breading in your hand. They taste awesome super thin. Corn dogs taste better dipped in mustard than ketchup. I drink my coffee black and like to brew my tea really strong; I love the bitterness of matcha green tea also. Putting sugar in tea is unthinkable...

I hate tomatoes, and absolutely can't stand them or lettuce in cheeseburgers. It just doesn't mix. Dill pickles > sweet pickles. Mayonnaise is some of the most repulsive stuff on earth but it's okay in Honey Walnut Shrimp for some reason. That's the only exception.

Now I'm hungry >_>
