I don't have the game just yet (grr, gotta wait 'til Christmas...), but other people do. As of today it is available in all game stores across Japan.
Here are some things I have noticed through the wiki: - Crop system is similar to IoH and SSaF (darn...) - Most actions are done with the B button now. The A button is strictly for jumping. The "menu" will only display your rucksack; there are no earnings/relationship/status charts on hand (all charts are accessible through the bookshelf). - For other controls, pressing the L button(?) will toggle walking/running, and the R button will open up a tool selection window. - Schmidt and Kagetsu are marriage candidates. It is unknown whether there are two more, but it seems unlikely. - Most of the townspeople are already available, with the exceptions of Schmidt, Kagetsu, and 4 other mystery villagers. The methods to unlock them are currently unknown. - The save system is like the old HM games. When you start a new game, you pick the slot you want to use (2 total). You can only save when you go to sleep. You cannot make duplicate/backup files (my guess is that it was implemented because of the Wi-Fi...). - Everything is in real-time. Time doesn't stop indoors (not even in your house), or when you open menus. So far there's no way to pause the game (except closing the DS), so I guess it's something to watch out for. -Jumping into the water will drop your stamina, but sometimes you can find items in there. Like money, medals, stones... Obviously I'll have a lot more info once I can try this game for myself. But that's what I've gathered this evening. ^^' Rival Couples so far: Juris & Freiya Agi & Anemone Lloyd & Shelfer Dirka & Enju This post has been edited by Nurse Fin: Dec 19 2008, 01:15 AM |

I just made my biggest profit ever at the bazaar o_o
139,770G. Yay! (however... it seems like I'm a little further off than before from upgrading the bazaar... I wonder why that is (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) ) Anyway, I found this very simple and easy G exploit... All you need is for Mucho to be selling fodder, some money, and the third windmill unlocked. GRASS SEEDS MAKE HUGE PROFITS. It's just fertilizer + fodder. Put in 10 of each and it will pop out 20 bags of seeds in a couple days (you can have a few batches running at the same time). A 1.5 star bag sells for 540G at the bazaar. And it's fairly easy to make several stacks of 99. Dayum. They don't go bad, either. I couldn't even sell all of mine before time ran out. |

A 1.5 star bag sells for 540G at the bazaar. And it's fairly easy to make several stacks of 99. Dayum. They don't go bad, either. I couldn't even sell all of mine before time ran out. I ALMOST did this, but I wasn't sure if I could sell them fast enough (forgot to mention I have had the 6 slots since summer Y1; You definitely need a lot to sell a lot...ok, that sounds dumb now (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ) Another one: You milk your cow once a day, right? Well, chances are you only get regular milk and MAYBE 1 miracle milk. Well, use that milk to make HOT MILK instead of cheese or yogurt. Hot milk sells around 650G where as Yogurt would go for 450 (5 Star normal milk; If it's miracle, make Yogurt because 5 star miracle yogurt gets around 2100+). So, every week you make around 4-5000G off of milk. It's small, but easier and better than wasting time with the windmill. Oh, and this sucks real bad, but you have to upgrade your hoe and watering can MULTIPLE TIMES. This will cost a lot of money. Also, you can't cheat the bazaar. I tried. Anything you buy on a Bazaar day is UNSELLABLE. Oh, and I have the normal fishing rod (4 star). I'll post a more comprehensive update later, just posting this for now (and I got to have a new year in this game at the same time as real life). Oh, and the reason why people's hearts go up EVEN when you don't give them anything is because of Festivals. Anytime you when or participate in one where said person is involved, their friend points go up. Example: Before the snowboard race, Shelfer had a purple heart with 2 hearts. I already gave her an herb salad before it, but her hearts stayed the same. When I won, she had a BLUE heart and after taking to everyone, I checked and saw she had 3 hearts and I gained one on Enju (who I didn't even talk to) and another on one of the twins. |
