Yes, the topic that was here before saffy's topic is back. Now I hardly will get any questions, but who cares, or since everyone has crud like this I wanted one too.
Erm yeah, so go, I am all knowing. |

With regard to me ripping Ryuujin off, I'd like to point out that whatever topic he may have had it was not the source of mine. I'm not saying Ryuujin didn't have one, as frankly he probably did, but he was no means the source of mine.
I created the topic after reading through Something Awful's forums for a few months. One of my favorite features was their version of Ask Me Questions. Instead, theirs focused on particular topics that peaked the curiosity of others. Two that come to mind were a man who had never been able to see in his life; and another person who was a male prostitute yet highly respectable nonetheless. There was just a slew of interesting topics on their forums, and I wanted to see how successful such a topic would be here. With that said, I still debated on the idea for at least a month until one day I was completely bored out of mind and decided to post it. I didn't expect it to actually do well, so I figured I might stir up a few pages of posts if I was lucky- enough to cure my momentary boredom. I'm quite tired of people bringing up the idea that I somehow stole the topic from Ryuujin. I didn't. If you're going to accuse me of anything at least accuse me of stealing it from Something Awful, as that is actually where I got the idea. I'm sorry but even if Ryuujin had a topic, it simply does not hold a candle to the many Something Awful offers. Even still, topics like this are so plentiful at Something Awful that you can't call them unique either. And if you want proof, go take a look at the 89 pages in their Ask / Tell forum. http://forums.somethingawful.com/forumdisp...php?forumid=158 |
