I was thinking the very same thing the other day! I really can't remember there being a "main" character, but it most definitely focused on the pigs. I do recall that Napoleon was the big-bad guy and I think Snowball was the good one that got run-off by Bluebell, Jessie, and Pincher the dogs. And then another one wrote stuff on the side of the barn. :\
Other than that, I know some named, important characters were Muriel the goat, Boxer [thanks!] and Clover and…MOLLIE [the horses], a snarky mule named Benjamin. There were some sheep, cows, chickens and ducks, but I think they were just dumb and cowardly. And then like, a cat? I need to read it again. Buh, I didn't like LotF all that much. Kind of disturbing, especially with the creepy talking pig's head. I mean, WHAT. And then the writing style seemed so old-school and broken. Iunno. The movie version was kind of, weird. And if one more person says how great To Kill A Mockingbird is, I think I'll implode. It's. Not. That. Great. |
