In any case, if you must know, the reason is that the grand computer Deep Thought (whom came up with the answer when asked for the answer) came up with it after thinking on it for millions (billions?) of years. It's such an ambiguous answer because it didn't quite know what the question was (being asked for simply the answer to life, the universe, and everything.) I could go on, but you could also just read the darn book. I mean, you've got libraries, right? |
