It's been a while since the original overall-clad protagonist made an appearance (well, Magical Melody), so I do find myself missing the original design every then and again.
But other than that I like the idea of an ever-changing main character. Sure a few of them have made more than one appearance (RF, IoH), but it certainly helps set each game apart from eachother. More often than not, a game is most known by it's main character. While Harvest Moon protagonists lack a real personality (because you control everything they do), the changing appearance is definitely a step in the right direction, I'd think. What about you all? |

My favorite protagonist of all time is Clair. She's so dang cute. Once I had to do a project on heat exhaustion and I made her after using her sickle too much. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
I also like EAM's protagonist a lot because they offer Lolita-esque clothes for her.<3 |
