It's been a while since the original overall-clad protagonist made an appearance (well, Magical Melody), so I do find myself missing the original design every then and again.
But other than that I like the idea of an ever-changing main character. Sure a few of them have made more than one appearance (RF, IoH), but it certainly helps set each game apart from eachother. More often than not, a game is most known by it's main character. While Harvest Moon protagonists lack a real personality (because you control everything they do), the changing appearance is definitely a step in the right direction, I'd think. What about you all? |

I like the change mostly. :)
But for some reason I'm not found of the change of ToT/P to EAM players. Mostly cause it's pretty much a sequal to ToT/P and I feel there was no need to change the main character/players. Not saying I dislike the design, I just find no need of it. *shrugs* |
