It's been a while since the original overall-clad protagonist made an appearance (well, Magical Melody), so I do find myself missing the original design every then and again.
But other than that I like the idea of an ever-changing main character. Sure a few of them have made more than one appearance (RF, IoH), but it certainly helps set each game apart from eachother. More often than not, a game is most known by it's main character. While Harvest Moon protagonists lack a real personality (because you control everything they do), the changing appearance is definitely a step in the right direction, I'd think. What about you all? |

They should at least have a Jake cameo somewhere in the newer games. They already putting the mineral town people into the newer games, Why not have Jake be the guy that teaches you how to farm or Clare if your playing as a girl. Other then thouse miner things I don't mind them changeing it every now and agian. I do wish they would bring back Jill (AnWL) though. She was my favorite girl untill the ToT one came out.
