I don't have the US version myself, but after reading through various accounts, the game will freeze whenever you try to activate Calvin's request event (5 hearts). Because of this, he is no longer eligible for marriage. Furthermore, if you don't get his heart level back down, you will not be able to go past level 10 in the mines (unless you are playing as a boy, or already married).
:( If anyone can prove this wrong, it would be much appreciated. |

Maybe I haven't been paying attention or something, but has anyone actually confirmed this happened? All I've seen is people talking about it.
