For a while I've been into Surrealism in art and movies. I just watched Eraserhead the other day, actually. The ending really creeped me out, it was like watching someone else's nightmare. the paintings were beautiful but also painful I saw such pain and sorrow within the paintings it seams they have a yurning for freedom but tied down by destiny and there were so many crosses almost as if it was one of the things that held then down so deep in despair and it also makes my think of the black plague with all of the dead and near death bodys they just made want to shed tears for them.
