I've been looking up information about this for the past few days (it was only announced on the 23rd-24th), trying to figure out what this is.


And thanks to some scans from Cher @ Ushi, this is not a rumor, it's legit.

In the "Harvest Moon" series, the player can enjoy a carefree farming life while interacting with the charming characters. Features like romance and marriage, which have been present within the series, will be taken to a new level with the Nintendo DS. In this latest work, the traditional system and world will be completely changed! In this village where the windmills turn, a new farming life will begin!!

Point 1: Restore the Power of the Windmill!
The story takes place in Zephyr Town, a town where a gentle breeze flows. It has become this town's namesake, and in order to utilize the wind power 3 kinds of windmills were established. In these windmills, for example, milk and mint can be manufactered to produce yogurt, though the processed goods each one can make are different.

Marriage Candidates (I'm not sure how to romanize all these names yet so bear with me)
Yurith - Firmly holding his own convictions, a young man who is stern with himself and others. In truth, he is a sensitive personality.
Dirka - Yurith's younger brother. He is well-liked by everyone because he is charming. A persevering boy who hates to lose.
Royd/Lloyd? - A peddler who stands out in his surroundings. He seeks high quality and new goods, and is usually gathering information.
Freya - A metropolitan girl who clearly speaks her own mind. Having been crushed once, she is inclined to turn down others (? I think that's what it says... I'm not sure..)
Anemone - A maid working at the town hotel. She always gives everything she's got, but she is frequently making fruitless efforts and failures.
Shelfa - The kind-hearted daughter of the mayor. Ever since her mother died, she has been doing her best.

Townspeople
Felix - Shelfa's father, the trustworthy mayor of Zephyr Town.
Stewart - He runs the hotel. Likes to talk.
Sania - Stewart's wife. Like her husband, she is a good-natured person.
Mucho - The second son of 3 merchant brothers that live in the town.

notes: Use the wireless (and I hope Wi-Fi) connection to play with up to 4 friends. You can visit each others' farms, shop in the marketplace, trade items, etc. There's a chat system implemented, so you can write messages to each other.
