Is it even remotely possiable to make a signature from just the regular Paint program?

Get rid of the background(the pictures that is) using the eraser tool, if the background is one solid color(including white) you can use the magic wand tool, which will make it so that whatever color you click on is the only part of the picture that is affected. If it doesn't seem to be getting all of the background then upper the Tolerance %.
Once all the background is gone you can copy the picture by using the select tool, once you've selected it press Ctrl+C
then go over to your background picture make sure you on the layer you want the thing to be on and press Ctrl+V, the thing should pop up, and you will instantly be on the move tool, so go ahead and move it wherever you want it.
