This will be a fiction story made up by me and Katie, plus anyone else who we accept. It will involve the paranormal, I.E., apparitions, extra terrestrials, and those things that you just cant explain. It will begin shortly. If you want to join, PM me or Katie a paragraph that you think will scare us out of our pants. :B (Or, you know, just write a really good paragraph that involves something scary :D) Thank you. :] (IMG:http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s186/crazy_apple_pie_11/AHLOL.jpg) We LOVE to hear feedback. Well, I do anyways. Comment as much as you like! :D Story 1 -- Seeing Is Believing A young girl and her family of 3 moves to a small ghost town. The girl, Kember witnesses strange events happening in her new house. Is there something wrong with her? Or does the house have a dark history, waiting to be uncovered?

Part 1 - Continued- Enjoy! :)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kember's conciousness had seemed to catch up with her, dark shadows of grey slithered out of the corners of her eyes, while cold blood rushed down from her head to the soles of her feet. Kember never really cared for the paranormal, usually brushing anything unusual or eerie off her shoulders and tried to think of a logical explanation. "It must be... All of this- this stress. That's all." she reassured herself, the words slowly echoing in the back of her mind. "Kids! I'm goin' out. I'll leave the car here, so make yer'selves useful and unpack a few things, will ya'?" yelled their mother, already rushing to see what sort of hillbilly liquer they might have in the town. Tori and Kyra cackled simultaneously, "You heard the woman Kember! Give yourself a purpose and unpack our stuff!" Kember's previous positivity quickly escaped her tight grasp, she knew that if she didn't unpack, her mother would return would unleash her drunken wrath, and if she did unpack, she would have to unpack. She sighed a crestfallen breath, and decided that she may as well do something to kill time. Her light steps gently sounded through the quiet hallway, the steady rhythm only interrupted by the creaking of the stained, putrid hardwood floor. Kember didn't notice the floor she was walking on, mainly just wanting to free herself from the rancid stench of the house. Suddenly, a shard of the shattered mirror pierced it's way through Kember's discount, blue dress shoe, It happened in a split second, as if it were in a movie. The light from the desert sun gleamed onto the glass fragement, as a drip of ruby streamed down the sharp mirror. Kember took in a shallow breath, and a cold rush of wind sent a glacial shiver down her spine. The caliginous shadows from the back of her mind crawled back into her eyesight, and she felt a clement drop of scarlet liquid slide out of both her eyes. Kember looked at her arms, blackened, they decomposed and evanesced in front of her eyes. Finally, she let out an earsplittingly loud shriek, terrified of what in the heck was going on. "Why in the world are you screaming?" groaned Kyra, looking at her sister in disarray. "What's going on?! Kyra! Help me!" "What are you blubbering abou-" She stopped, noticing the small puddle of blood encompassing Kember's left foot. "Oh, you stepped on the mirror? Jesus Kember, how stupid can one person be?" Kyra said, before turning around to look for a paper towel of some sort. Kember's dark hazel eyes, still opened wide with salty tears drizzling down, once again caught the realization that it must have all been in her head. Her heart dropped to the bottom of her stomach, as she tried to find out her current mental state. After about two and a half minutes of standing in complete stillness, she was still undecided. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- End Of Part 1. Hope that wasn't too bad. I got stuck in places, and didn't really know what to do half the time. And now, it's 4:17am, so I'm gonna go lie down in my bed and wake up tomorrow the the screeching feral noises my sister likes to call singing. :) |
