Tools of the Trade...., Hey. Options

Over the summer, I want to do a lot of stuff with art. Use chalk, and that paint I've had but rarely used for years.
Whenever I do stuff now, I always do it with Corel or GIMP, but now I'm trying out this SAI paint tool I've found (trial, though). I always draw in my school notebooks too, and use my pens and sometimes just pencils.

I sort of want to also buy some clay sometime, since I did a claymation in school once, and it was lots of fun (but tedious).

Pen/Pencil/Paper -> Also pens. I'm planning on getting proper manga pens, soon. I was also hoping to start colouring more (Yeah, black and white it's been for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ), and try out watercolours and stuff. I also have a set of charcoal pencils, hoping to use them some more.
Then GIMP/tablet on the computer. Since I haven't had a scanner in a while I haven't been able to scan anything. :<

I wish the schools would get GIMP rather than buying the Adobe products and updating them every year. GIMP is easier to understand, and I like its organization better. It's straightforward about what everything does, and again, it's FREE! It would save so much money that we could spend on other things *cough*instruments*cough* and that's one of the major issues education is facing anyway.

I think it's because usually you don't hear businesses working with cheap GIMP.

I use everything from poll A and B. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Got back into traditional mediums. As for programs I use Photoshop all the time and only tried illustration twice. Did not like it much.

At the moment I'm doing shrinky dink keychains of Main Harvest Moon characters to sell. :)
