Greens won in Brighton Pavillion, my hours of giving out leaflets in suburban helk have paid off and I'm a happy man, even if the national results sucked utterly. We have our first ever MP now :D How high profile is this election in Canda/America? I thought it might elicit a mention by your news, it's pretty important stuff. Information and stuff |

I actually have been hearing about the election in the UK for a few days now. Seems to be discussed regularly.

I think since Canada still has a pretty close connection with the Brits, so we've been having it on our news as well. I'm not very interested in politics, but as long as it makes you happy, then it must be good?

You don't understand. Bulbasaur is also Scottish and mildly socialist.

Haha, funny picture. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Anyways, in the US it's not really mentioned much. I read the BBC news on an app in my phone, so I see a lot in there, but not in actual American news stations and such. |

I read the BBC news on an app in my phone, so I see a lot in there, but not in actual American news stations and such. it's mentioned at least on PBS and NPR, but that's what I listen to...the news on TV is too biased ( by both right-wing (FOX) and left-wing (CBS/NBC), or so they say) |

I heard about it once or twice, but it's not really a big deal here in the US, or at least in Florida.
I think I found that comparison picture more amusing than I should have.. |
