Hey!
I was just wondering, how many people on here actually have jobs?
If you do, then post what your job is and any other info about it! Like, are you happy, how much you get paid, how you got it, etc.

Nine dollars an hour to listen to music and wave at people while dressed as a cellphone. Fun.

I worked at Wendy's for two years making $8.95 an hour. I got employee of the month twice. It actually wasn't so bad thanks to everyone working there making it a bit more enjoyable. However, I really hated getting burned while cooking so much ): I also got to train a lot of the new employees which was actually pretty cool.

I then worked as a Research Assistant programming games for a year. That was pretty awesome! :D I got to go to a conference once too. I really enjoyed it.

And now I'm looking for a job in either game development or web design. We'll see how that goes.

Well, I certainly feel incredibly stupid =\ I spent the past few days making a new resume, a CV, and a cover letter for Ubisoft. I finally got to apply to about 5 jobs for them. I then noticed I put the date as 2007 on all the cover letters I sent x.x Very good chance there goes every job I just applied to with them.

Sure, the experience was good and all. I'll certainly remember the next time too. But wow. Just. Every single application is probably going to rejected immediately now.

^No, no Saffy! I'm sure they'll just chuckle and ignore it! Trust me, they don't care about the date, they care about the rest of your info. The things that matter.
Don't worry, I have a feeling you'll get a call back from them and they will be saying, "When can you start?"

Well, in the meantime, I've applied for Webkinz. It's pretty awesome. I get to apply to all these jobs I've always wanted to but never could have. I mean, I'd love to work for a company that makes plushies :3 I have so many of them.

^Wow, that sounds awesome! And just try to relax. They might say, "Hey, this guy's got a sense of humor! We like him already!" :] Yes. I am always optimistic.

Anyway, while I don't have a job, I do plan to be a famous writer when I grow up. I shall go down in history, and in 100 years, kids will be groaning and going, "Do we HAVE to read the classics by [insert my name here]??" Yes, I know that sounds like it'll be bad for me and all, but I said the same thing about Shakespeare, and then I actually read the book, and it was awesome! :] And for a part time job (if I ever get off my lazy bum to get one), I'll work at Sonic. :D Just cuz I like the idea of roller blading! And I hear the one at my place gets good tips!

How amusing! Here's some interesting points I found out while applying to Nintendo :0

- You must consent to a drug test.
- They ask specifically if you are either Hispanic/Latino or not. There's no other option.
- Your answers will be changed on the verification page. They want you to be careful.

Wow. Back in middle school, I still wanted to write, but more for video game stories for Nintendo and stuff. Like, what the game is about, and all that stuff. All games need a story (well, I suppose they don't HAVE to have one, but it's funner when they do!).

Thanks. :]

Well, I started my first ever job on the weekend at the tuck shop where my dad works. It's like a camp/resort on the lake.
So far it sucks. My manager has been getting me to do everything even when she hasn't taught me how to cook certain things or even really how to use the cash register yet.
Plus, since it's a camp you get all the really super outgoing hyper summer staff {do programs for the little kids} who are super weird... But often times super good looking -sigh-.
The only plus side is that I get paid 9.50 an hour.
I don't think I'll be going back next summer though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif)
