Do you have a certain band that no matter how often you listen to it, you still get goosebumps? Or maybe a song that inspires you? Maybe it's not music, a movie that calls out to you or a novel that you will reread until the day you die because it's so epic?

MGMT is that band for me. The music makes me want to do great things with my life. Everytime I listen to it I feel the music right in my chest and it's super epic.

I get into music moods. I can listen to a band for months and then my mood changes and I'm on to another band. I still love them all, but for two to three months all I want to hear is that particular band.

One song that has always put me in a good mood is "One Week". I know its silly, but I love it. :]

A mixture of Franz Ferdinand, Teddy Geiger's songs off "The Rocker" and the Wombats. I'm also really into bands covering other artists' songs. I really like hearing how they play it.

The Wombats were on their way out, but then they did this awesome cover song. :D

Haha awesome. I really like Franz Ferdinand too, but that was a few years ago that I was REALLY into it.

Hahaha. There are lots of books that I love but I'm not sure if there is a book that speaks to me as much as this music speaks to me. This is beyond "loving the music", hah... it is the creative expression of everything that I feel inside of me.

Dream Theater, and especially octavarium.

Also in a lesser degree there is Blind Guardian and In Flames.

"Proud" by Heather Small has been really inspiring to me lately. I listen to it when I need some strength to keep going.

You want epic music? Look no further than Johnny Cash.

Oh, and there's the Oblivion theme, too. Still gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it. It's like an orgasm in my ears.

In better quality, anyway.
