Re-Growing Crops, Re-growth time Options

I've played the Japanese copy a bit, but I never got to play long enough to see this myself, and when I glanced over the guide at Barnes and Noble today I noticed that for growth times, they only list one even for multi-harvest crops, like Breadfruit.

For those who've played the Japanese version more extensively, do multi-harvesting crops take the full amount of time before the second harvest, or is there a shorter period that just wasn't listed in the guides?

I have the English version so I'm not sure if it's the same or not. The initial wait is longer then the re-growing. After the first harvest it should only be a couple of days before re-growth.
