This might be a bad time since the group play is about to start, but since 64 is going to win it, and I lack the game I think I'll just do this to keep myself busy while the other's play.
Basically it's going to run like all other let's plays, but I'm going to set one restriction and that's that I don't want Nami to be my spouse. That's about all, and for now there are a few things that need decided. Main Character's Name: Jon Farms Name: Ranch Farm (Unoriginal I know, but it's like a short version of RS I guess haha) Livestock: Betty-normal cow Tammy-brown cow Rick-Horse Tom-Sheep Poultry: Lil-hen Jen-hen Cluck-hen Roy-rooster Type of Dog: Pointy Ear Dog's Name: Buster Wife: Muffy Main Source of Income Mix Secondary Source of Income Mix Son's Name: Luke Erm this is all I can think of at the moment, and feel free to join if you want. If it's a bad time or if I missed anything let me know. Also they're probably won't be screen shots, but I will provide descriptions of things going on, or things that stand out to me. So yeah go ahead and mention what you want on certain things, and I'll wait until there's enough responses and I might do voting, on things or I might just pick the first response on certain things. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- File 2 (Celia File) Name: Jon Farm's Name: Ranch Farm Livestock: Betty- Normal Cow Poulty: Dog: Long ears, Name: Butch |

That's fine. Remember, the Summer FGP's group play is just for the individuals who WANT a group play. You can play your own game too. Since I played '64 last year I probably won't this one, as it'd just be a repeat. You could see all I'd do just by checking the old topic.

I think I might actually join in on this. not only do I need something to occupy my time, but this was the first HM I had ever heard of and played. Looking back at my file it was horrible because all I really cared about was making my kid grow up. I would hibernate for days. I didn't understand how to take care of my cows (I still don't) because they stopped giving milk. I grew crops maybe twice.

You have to impregnate cows after they stop giving milk, wait until after they birth and then after they finish taking care of their child (they get enough mother's milk) then they start producing milk regularly again. Only game that you have to do that with a cow actually in the HM series.

Oh wow I didn't know that! But if you have to keep impregnating the cows, won't that make all of the room in your barn fill up quickly?

And that's where selling them comes in... but I hate doing that because I think it makes other animals unhappy, plus the whole depressing scene where Takaura walks away slowly and you have to watch him take your animal to town.

Oh wow, that is sad. :(
I think I'll make a file as soon as I'm done with dinner! I think I'll marry Nami. I already married Celia, and Muffy is too much of a horror. Look at all the hair curlers she wears when she sleeps. I hear her kid is a piece of something too. |

I can't decide on what I want to do, and no one has filled out the things above. I think I'll go ahead and name my character Jon though since that is my name, but as for the rest I have no clue. I guess I could just make the farm as best it could be in my eyes, but that might be different than what other's think as the "best" farm.

I guess I'll do a 5 day summary (half a season) for my brief catch ups.
I started my first day off by buying 16 tomatoe seeds, and with my 2 that were on the shelf planted all of them in the fertile field in a checkerboard formation just cuz. I also bought a banana tree seed and planted that by my house. After I was doing all the tired actions I went off and cut some grass with my cow out in the field. Later at night I went to the bar and bought a drink to get some stamina so I could finish my chores and be off to bed. Day 2 was pretty much filled with me completing chores, and I also got milk A from my cow. That's generally pretty quick to get for me, and considering I got 4 bottles with it I could now afford a lot more, so I bought myself a chicken in the afternoon and some bird feed. That's about it there. Day 3 my chicken arrived and so I named her Lil. I also saw Muffy's first red heart event after leaving my house, and continued my work throughout the day. I decided to order a sheep and some sheers, and I also purchased the brush and fishing rod from Van after selling mined goods and some flowers. Day 4 my sheep arrived and I also found the first artifact in the mines. That's about all worth mentioning from there. Day 5 I saw Muffy's 2nd heart event. That's all I can really say happend besides me working. Maybe I'll just update this when note worthy things happen instead of every 5 days haha. The list looks very bland... |

I started a game a few days ago.
Day 1. I got ten fertilizer and planted two tomato's and got the brush, talked to the villagers. Day 2. I worked on getting money, as to buy a bull and start my milking cow farm. That's all I did. |

Alright I made it to the first of Summer, and I have seen every single one of Muffy's heart events, so I suppose that I'm marrying her (although I need name ideas for her son if anyone wants to come up with anything, I'm bad with names haha)
I made some more money off of my cow, chicken, sheep, and tomatoes that I now have ordered a female brown cow. Takakaura has told me about the seed maker in town, so I'm not sure if I should just go ahead and buy it without dealing with befriending Dayrl or just take the freebie. I saw the event with Lumina talking about her hating the piano lately, so I cheered her up by telling her to just enjoy it and have fun. I guess it made Rock some what sad because he left with a disappointed look on his face. Another thing I guess I have to mention is that I saw an odd glitch. Basically I saw a weird mark at the top of the path that leads to town, to look up and find that it was actually Wally who was frozen in place there. I guess that's all I have to say right now. I've also replanted more tomatoes and my next purchase will be towards another banana tree, or another hen. Haven't decided yet. |

I might get in on this, but probably wouldn't make a new file, rather pick up from last time. I've gotten into it a couple times but could only make it into about Spring 8th and then giving up cause it's so damn long.

I'm on Spring 4th. I have one hen and one cow. I currently have 15 tomatoes planted. I forgot how challenging it is to get money in this game. Another odd thing is I've been trying to woo Nami. I've given her a gift and talked to her every day. She has no red hearts for me yet. Then I've only talked to Muffy twice, and she has a red heart for me already. >_<

Well a lot has happend for the first half of this summer (I stayed up late playing this and lost track of time I guess, so I decided to update while this was still fresh in my mind.). I got my brown cow which I named Tammy, and I've also recieved my horse which I named Rick, like all of my other AWL horses. Just like my first cow (I always name it Betty) it just seems natural for me to name it Rick. I've also finished planting my orchard which consists of 2 banana trees, an apple tree, an orange tree, a grape tree, and a peach tree. So that should help pay off next year. I'm currently trying to befriend Dayrl so I can get the Seed Maker for free because I'm really tight on funds with all of my money spending trying to expand the farm and all as much as I can so that next year will be easy on me while I wait for Betty to give birth. I also recieved my first gold wool from Tom, so I can afford more hens, which I have one that I'm awaiting to arrive. I'm still undecided on whether or not I should get the ducks. I want my son to become a rancher, but I'm not sure if that boosts his interest in the career, and essentially the darn things just take up space and eat bird feed which adds up later. Also I've proposed to Muffy. I guess that's all I have for now really.
I think I'll start updating my first post more with all of my animals now, and again if you have a good name for Muffy's son that I should use let me know because I still got nothing. |

Alex? Cole? Joey?
Those are just a few I can think of when I look at her son. |

Well I guess I have a good bit to talk about for the last half of summer.
I got my second hen which I named Jen, and I have another one to be delivered tommorow. My cow was jacking up my funds because of her poor milk performance, only giving me 2 A rank milks per milking instead of the usual 3 and occasional 4, so I bought some good fodder and after 2 feedings of the stuff she's now giving me 3 S rank milks per milking which is fine by me. That stuff pays for itself in the long run haha. I've befriended Ruby and recieved Ruby's Spice which I guess caught me off guard of how suprisingly easy she was to befriend. I'm still working on befriending Dayrl, so I have to keep up my fishing. That seed maker will make up for all my lost time fishing though I guess, even though now I have nothing better to do. For the end of this Summer through the Fall I decided to change my main crop from tomatoes to melons just to see how much more I'll make. I guess that's just about it. I've also considered naming my soon to be son Luke, or maybe Aaron. I'm starting to lean towards Luke. Thanks for the names though Z they actually got my mind thinking of some haha. |
