* You have to have a big bed.
* You might have to be at least around 6 or 7 friend points with her family. * You must complete all of Shara's requests. There are nine of them. * You have to have gone through the Unity Festival and to do that, you have to beat all the monster bosses in the dungeons( and gotten all the orbs). After the Unity Festival Marjorie and Wells come into your house the next morning. They will give you the recipe for the Engagment Ring (2 silver, 1 ruby, level 20 in decorating.) * Take Shara on a date and propose to her with the ring. Hope this helps. :] |

Also, I've noticed if the date doesn't go well you won't be able to propose. A good hint is when your guy will say "Now is the time to give the engagement ring" kind of saying.
