Harvest Moon Trivia, Notice anything? Options

This thread is for if you notice anything interesting, for example; references to real world people and events, hidden items, secret details, links between games, etc.
For instance, Mayor Thomas is the only character other than the main character in HM:DS to possess a Teleport Necklace. If you notice, he has a blue stone on a chain round his neck remeniscient of the purple stone available at the Sprite Tree. Other characters in DS and FoMT comment on the fact that he just pops out of nowhere to appear behind you, which they find quite disturbing, and in the DS game you never see him walking through town - he just turns up where he wants to be without travelling to that particular place, such as the Manor and your farm.
Also, the game MFoMT contains three Secret Heart bachelors. Easiest to marry out of these is Won the Travelling Salesman. He turns out to be rather unpleasant as a husband, often thinking about money instead of you. He's also the only bachelor who, during the wedding ceremony, will wait for you to kiss him rather than the other way round. Second is the Gourmet, rumoured to be the uncle of Pierre from IoH. By giving him good food everytime you see him, you can raise his (invisible) heart level and eventually marry him. Third up is the magical Kappa, although it's mystifying why anybody would want to marry him.

In BtN, when Harris or something comes up and tells you about Won "The suspicious man wearng a yellow hat carrying a suitcase", then you go to Rose Sqaure or something, and Won just leaves there (Can't remember correctly) Then Harris comes and asks if Won was just here, you say yes or something then you go to somewhere else and theres Won and Harris or something.
Can't quite remember, but, I found that ineresting and funny. mind you I was 8 or something when that happened, so, yeah, I found it hilarious really.

Harris said it was raining once, when it was in fact, snowing. But I think that's more of a glitch than anything, but I laughed and thought he should learn his weather again. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif)

I can't think of any others besides in HM:DS, the sprites make fun of the Shopping Network with their own little spoof. I wanted some of that stuff....

Yeah, me too. That XXL Saving Device was pretty cool. Starts by attracting all the money in your house into your wallett. After a while, the range expands, attracting all the money from the houses of your neighbors, and soon the whole town will be broke as you roll in your riches.

Once you have his heart points high, Gil the mayor's son comments that he'd like to lock you away in his basement for ever and ever. Creepy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) Somone needs investigating by the police. I bet it they searched his house, they'd find it full of indecent pictures and stuff.

I think it's rather cute that instead of a normal hanging sign outside their shop like everyone else, the Tailor's in ToT is a HM sheep. So cute. 8]
