To me the wind bazaar looks okay but I think in game play the girl and boy look the same except the hair colour is different. Does any one agree with me?

Well, I'm going to be playing the game for gathering info whether I like it or not, but...
There are some things that seem really really cool about this game, and other things that just seem... well, disappointing. Cool stuff: -I'm really looking forward to selling stuff at the bazaar -It seems to make more use of the DS features, like blowing into the mic to make the windmills turn -Online play! (though, I won't have anyone to play with because of wi-fi incompatiblity, it is still a neat idea) -Adorable portrait graphics Uncool stuff: -The male protagonist looks like he is 5 years old. Especially with that voice. >_>;; And it's going to get married and spawn babies? It's like Harvest Moon: The Pierre Edition. -None of the marriage candidates (especially the bachelors) have captured my interest yet. Though, Schmidt sounds like he might deliver... *hopes* -What is the use of the jump feature? If they don't have a good reason for it, then adding a platforming system to HM is just... dumb. It might be fun, but still sounds useless. -The one-bag-of-seeds-per-crop-square system sounds cumbersome, but like the jumping, I'll have to see how it plays out in the game before making a final assessment of it. |

Who's Schmidt? He was a character who appeared in the demo, but otherwise there isn't much information or images of him yet. His description is "long white hair, looks kind of domineering". Doesn't say much, but I'm hoping it's something better than an "I say!" gent, a shota brat, Mikami-in-a-turban, or the hippy-dippy artist who is obsessed with eating. Dx If not, then I'll have to settle for Juris and Lloyd... |

So girls get Schmidt, and us guys are left Mina-less?! *Still miffed about Mina not being a bachlorette* Anyway, I don't like any of the bachlorettes, either. Freya remind me too much of Karen(And I didn't like her....) Anemone is too focused, the Mayor's daughter, while cute, doesn't capture my interest, and I'm not a Tsundere fan. But I LOVE Mina. She looks soooo cute. X3 No wonder she has a fanclub... Onto my gameplay assessment, the jumping looks weird. It needs a purpose. And the one-seed-per-crop thing? They haven't done that since the WL series. I wonder why it's back- on the note of the windmills, I like the idea, but what do they do again? I thought it was cooking with wind...... |

the way everyone moves(from the new video, anyway) looks very archaic.. but I think the new features seem cool.. hopefully not just crammed in with no potency..

[/quote] In Harvest Moon Innocent life for psp there is one seed bag per cropsquare but I like it because then you can have a whole bunch of different crops mixed together. |

You know... I keep trying to like this game...
And it's just not happening.... -.- Not to be bashing it... but it just looks like absolute SCHLOCK. All the candidates are personality-less clones who look like Roomi and Pierre's illegetimate children... The art is like rainbow vomit... and the gameplay looks really lacking Also.. the graphics took a nosedive, didn't they? I don't know.. I'm very disappointed... :/ |

They should have a little break I say. I still need to buy some of these games.
And, I don't find that the game is horrible but not awesome, it's in the middle. |

Also... has anyone but me noticed that they've chosen "I Saw Three Ships" as their theme song...?
Why would they pick a Christmas song as a theme in the PV... for a harvest moon game? I dunno... that struck me as odd -.- |

Honestly I agree. This game just doesn't seem very harvest moon like and doesn't pop out, characters don't seem memorable to me anymore on the DS versions.

this is definetly a different type of harvest moon and I like the idea of selling things at the bazarre but I can't see a second game for this coming out.

I think it looks cute. ^^ I love Agi and Loyd for the bachelors. And Ange/Enju is adorable~ (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
I think the style looks great graphics wise. Plus it's original (windmill meaning). It's a lot different, but who wants the same game done over and over again? |

I think it looks okay, but I don't think I'd want to spend my money on it. :l
(maybe if I had some extra money... which is unlikely) The Bachelors I like are (not in any particular order) Agi (for some strange reason....) Loyd (but the turban... >.>) Schmidt Juris Bachelorettes, I don't worry about And if you saw the gameplay videos, the jumping around and blowing the windmills look fun. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) But, again, I don't think I'd spend my own money on it... I don't like : the one-bag-per-crop system The main girl... too.. much.. pink >.> She's cute though :D I guess it's a so-so game.. |

It looks 'meh' to me. I'm still not entirely sure if I really want it or not, but so far I'm kinda leaning towards a no. Nothing about it has really sparked my interest, even though I think the character designs are rather cute...

I personally can't wait for it. I love any and all Harvest Moons but disliked the touch screen movement and I'm SO glad they took it out. The bachelors were on the meh side but I can deal with it. Their heading in the right direction though and I hope the next one they add more bachelors though and maybe have it a different setting, which I really liked about this one.
